Meet your Provider:

Rachel Durkin, MSN, FNP-C

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience caring for patients across the Puget Sound region. I began my career in the emergency room, where I spent 12 years managing a wide range of acute and complex conditions. That experience shaped my ability to think critically, act decisively, and truly listen when something deeper is going on.

Throughout my training, I expanded my clinical background to include intensive care, pediatrics, and perioperative services—giving me a well-rounded, comprehensive approach to patient care.

After becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I transitioned into urgent care, where I began to notice a pattern: many women were coming in with symptoms like fatigue, mood changes, low libido, and brain fog—but the root cause often wasn’t being addressed. Time and again, these concerns traced back to hormonal imbalance, especially during perimenopause and menopause.

That realization shifted the direction of my practice.

I’ve since pursued additional training focused on menopause, sexual health, and vulvar health, allowing me to provide more targeted, thoughtful care in an area that is often overlooked or underserved.

My approach is straightforward: take the time to understand the full picture, identify the root cause, and create a plan that helps you feel like yourself again. This is care that goes beyond quick visits and temporary fixes—it’s about restoring balance, confidence, and long-term health.
